September and October are known to be the best time of year to go fishing in Los Cabos. You can fish year-round but during these two months the weather remains very hot making the water warmer and bringing in larger fish.
With October being the ultimate month for fishing in Los cabos, the major fishing tournaments happen in October. The Bisbee’s Black and Blue, which is a multi-million dollar Marlin tournament that happens every year brings a large crowd of fisherman to win the ultimate prize. If you plan to be around for this event, be aware that prices increase across town, rentals are usually fully booked, and the waters are very busy.
